Mitered Corners & Elastic: As explained in the description of our sheets, we do not miter corners nor do we use elastic. Mitered corners prevent sheets from fitting various thicknesses of a mattresses properly. Each corner will have a pointed dog ear corner. Simply tuck the corner into itself, same as you would do if you were pushing a pocket back into a pair of pants. Push the pointed corner back into itself and a self made vertical fold will square up each corner. Our sheets are made to fit mattresses that are 10-15 inches thick. Each fitted bottom sheet has a stretchy pocket at the head and the foot that is made to fit a 10 inch thick mattress and will grow and stretch to fit a 15 inch thick mattress. If your mattress is not 10-15 inches thick, you can still order, simply send us an email at pockets@originalpockets.com and give us the email address you ordered with, the name you ordered with, the size of sheet you ordered and how thick or thin your mattress is. We will custom cut the sheet to fit the dimensions you provide to us at no extra cost.
